TGL brings a unique twist to the traditional golfing experience, combining high-tech elements with the thrilling atmosphere of team competition. Matches will be held at the impressive SoFi Center, which boasts a whopping 250,000 square feet of space at Palm Beach State College. This venue is going to be a game-changer for golf as it features an IMAX-sized simulator screen that measures a jaw-dropping 64 feet wide and 53 feet tall!

The league is designed to capture the attention of younger audiences who may not have been traditional golf fans. With the help of modern technology and a dash of excitement, TGL aims to make the sport more accessible and thrilling for everyone.

TGL matches will feature an exciting format that includes 15 holes per session, split into two segments: the first part is a “Triples” session where players use an alternate shot format over nine holes, followed by a thrilling six-hole “Singles” session where players go head-to-head. There’s also a unique 360-degree rotating green complex that simulates various approach angles, making it a creative golfing experience like no other!

Players can even call timeouts to prevent shot clock violations since each player has a 40-second shot clock. Plus, with players wearing microphones, fans can enjoy real-time interactions, adding a fun layer of engagement to the matches.

From Regular Season to Playoffs

The competitive structure is quite interesting! Teams earn points throughout the regular season, receiving two points for a win and one point for an overtime loss. The top four teams will square off in the playoffs, culminating in the dramatic SoFi Cup Finals scheduled for March 24-25, 2025.
