This past Saturday morning, the beautiful city of Myrtle Beach buzzed with energy and heartfelt purpose as the community gathered at The Market Common for the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s. It was a day filled with camaraderie, support, and immense dedication to raising funds for a cause that affects so many lives.

The air was crisp, and with the temperature hovering around a pleasant 76 degrees, it was the perfect day for walking! People of all ages came out to show their support, and their participation spoke volumes about the strength and unity of our community. Families, friends, and fuzzy companions joined together under a clear blue sky to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research.

Rallying Against a Devastating Disease

As folks set out on the walk, it was clear that everyone was there for the same reason— to make a difference. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s raised an impressive total of over $260,000, all thanks to the tireless efforts of walkers, sponsors, volunteers, and organizers. Isn’t that fantastic? This money will go a long way in funding research and providing support for families dealing with Alzheimer’s disease.

Crowds of enthusiastic walkers filled the streets, sporting purple shirts and bright smiles.
