Two Men Suspected in Myrtle Beach Shooting Arrested in Virginia

Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Two men, previously sought for allegations of attempted murder in a Myrtle Beach incident, were arrested on Thursday in Lynchburg, Virginia. Jay’Quan O’Shawn Pollard, 26, and Xaviar Isiah Austin, 31, were apprehended on fugitive warrants issued by Lynchburg’s Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service.

The arrests of Pollard and Austin serve in connection to an occurrence that transpired on April 8. Law enforcement reacted to a late-night report of an aggravated assault in the 1500 block of Pachino Drive, Myrtle Beach. When they arrived at the scene around 11:20 p.m., they discovered a person who had been shot. Fortunately, the victim survived the encounter with non-life-threatening injuries. Charges And Extradition

On top of attempted murder, both Pollard and Austin face charges of burglary and failure to appear relating to prior accusations on the same charge.
