For those who are unable to attend in person, the CCU community is invited to submit written tributes, along with photos and videos, via email at ccustory@coastal.edu. Selected pieces will be compiled into a memorial book to celebrate Overton’s enduring influence.
Social media enthusiasts are encouraged to join in on the day’s festivities by sharing their posts using the hashtag #TEOTealTuesday. It’s a chance for the broader community to engage in a shared celebration of Overton’s legacy, no matter where they are.
Additionally, contributions can be made to the Travis E. Overton and Jacob M. Rosiek Student Benevolence Fund. This fund aims to support CCU students facing crisis situations, which reflects Overton’s dedication to helping others.
