Sponsor Our ArticlesMyrtle Beach, get ready to roll out the red carpet for the famed Oscar Mayer Wienermobile! This delightfully hot-dog-shaped vehicle is making a special stop in our neck of the woods, and trust us, you don’t want to miss it! Arriving on Tuesday, October 29, the Wienermobile will be hanging around until it zooms off to Charleston on Monday, November 4. This week is going to be all about fun, food, and, of course, wieners!
First up on Wednesday, October 30, the Wienermobile will be parked in downtown Myrtle Beach for some serious photo ops! Bring your cameras because you’ll want to capture this iconic vehicle in all its glory. The friendly ambassadors “Coop Dawg” and “CornDog Kait” will be on-site, ready to greet you and hand out the ever-popular “wiener whistles.” You know you want one of those for your collection!
Looking for something unique to do for Halloween? Well, you’re in luck! On Thursday, October 31, from 4 to 7 p.m., join the trunk or treat event at Socastee by the Swing Bridge at 6011 Dick Pond Rd. This is sure to be the trunk or treat like no other, and you just might run into our wiener-loving friends while you’re out collecting candy!
On Friday, November 1, the festivities continue as the Wienermobile rolls into the EdVenture Children’s Museum from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a fantastic chance for the kiddos to get some wiener fun and educational experiences in one stop! Located at 4005 Howard Ave., it’ll be a day to remember.
If you’re in Pawleys Island, you have more wiener fun to look forward to. The JB’s Annual Fall Bash at JB’s Celebration Park is going to showcase the Wienermobile too! The BBQ cook-off starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, and the Wienermobile is set to arrive at 3 p.m. The competition will be hot, and the wieners will be too—don’t let your taste buds miss this!
No worries if you miss it in Myrtle Beach or Pawleys Island; your last chance to see the Wienermobile will be at Carolina Forest on Sunday, November 3. It’ll be parked at the Publix at Forest Square, 2170 Oakheart Rd., from noon to 4 p.m. Swing by, grab a few groceries, and maybe snap a pic or two with this world-famous hot dog on wheels!
This is not just about hot dogs—it’s about creating smiles, having a blast, and making sweet memories with family and friends. So mark your calendars, grab your family, and let’s embrace the wiener culture this week in Myrtle Beach! Get ready for some laughs, tasty treats, and the chance to blow a wiener whistle. See you there!
