The North Myrtle Beach Police responded to an incident on Madison Drive South on Monday, where a male victim reported having his neck cut by a knife by a known associate. The victim was found outside, with a bleeding laceration on the left side of his chin and neck. After entering the premises, the police apprehended Reyez and Cruz Morales.
The victim informed the police that he was on the ground floor of the building when the incident took place. As he was preparing to leave with some friends, Cruz Morales and Reyez, who were inside the upper premises of the building, allegedly yelled at him and threw bottles at his car. In addition to Reyez and Cruz Morales, two other individuals allegedly joined in the assault, but they were not located or identified.
According to the police report, Reyez allegedly began punching the victim’s car, resulting in a broken windshield and damaged side mirrors. The report further stated that Cruz Morales was in possession of a black knife at the time. He is charged with assaulting the victim with the knife, leaving the victim with cuts on his chin and neck.
