Hey Myrtle Beach! We have some fantastic news for all the lovely ladies in our area. A brand new women’s fashion boutique called Scout & Molly’s is set to open its doors soon, and trust us, you won’t want to miss it! The store, which will officially open on October 2, 2024, aims to be your go-to place for all things fashion, relaxation, and fun!
As you step inside the boutique, you’ll immediately notice the warm pink walls that create a cozy ambiance. Imagine leisurely shopping for dresses, floral blouses, leather jackets, and much more while enjoying some smooth jazz music softly playing in the background. And if you’re feeling tired from all the shopping, there are comfy lounge chairs right alongside area rugs that look like they belong in your living room.
While you’re taking a little break, you can sip on a glass of prosecco or other lovely wines as you wait for your friends to try on some outfits in one of the three changing rooms. This place isn’t just about shopping; it’s all about enjoying the experience and spending quality time with friends!
Let’s not forget to mention the friendly owners! Sonya Martin is the heart behind Scout & Molly’s, and she’s all about creating a personalized shopping experience for everyone. On her first day giving us a sneak peek, her adorable dog Andy was right by her side, ready for some cuddles and naps. Sonya is no stranger to the fashion scene, having worked in a locally owned boutique in North Myrtle Beach years ago and even running a store called Monkee’s of Myrtle Beach.
At Scout & Molly’s, there’s a special focus on making sure every woman feels fabulous. Sonya believes that shopping should be an experience where you feel empowered and glamorous. She shares that, “I’ve always been a people person, servicing people, being around people. I love spending time with my girlfriends, and I’ve always loved fashion.” This passion for connecting with others will shine through in every aspect of the boutique.
Not sure what to try on? No problem! The store offers a one-on-one personal shopping experience, where you can explore styles that may surprise you. Martin is thrilled when customers say, “I would never try this on!” and then walk away gasping in delight at how great they look. It’s all about stepping outside your comfort zone and discovering new styles!
Scout & Molly’s is a place for everyone, including college sports fans! Whether you’re rooting for Clemson or the University of South Carolina, you can find stylish attire that shows off your team spirit. You’ll also find trendy pieces capturing the current cultural trends, like a denim jacket adorned with artwork inspired by Taylor Swift’s “Reputation” album.
Stylist Mary Antonuccio, who brings years of experience from Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, is also alongside Sonya to assist customers in expanding their wardrobe in a way that feels comfortable. “We all have something,” she says, reminding shoppers to embrace and celebrate their unique beauty.
Mark your calendars for the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on October 2, right at 4377 North Kings Highway in Magnolia Row. The store will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. Oh, and if you love bringing your furry friends along, you’ll be happy to know that the plaza is dog-friendly!
So get ready, ladies! A delightful shopping experience awaits you at Scout & Molly’s. We can’t wait to see you there, exploring the fabulous styles and making new memories with friends!
