Myrtle Beach Gears Up for a Fun-Filled Weekend with the Wienermobile!

Myrtle Beach Welcomes the Wienermobile!

This weekend, our beloved Myrtle Beach gets a **one-of-a-kind treat**—the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile! That’s right, folks! This gigantic hot dog on wheels is rolling into town, and it’s sure to be a hit with everyone from kids to adults. With its bright colors and fun shape, the Wienermobile is hard to miss, and it’s not just here for the scenery; it’s got some exciting events lined up!

Meet the Hotdoggers

The Wienermobile is being driven by two friendly “Hotdoggers,” Cooper “Coop Dog” Albert and Kaitlyn “Corndog Kate” Goldstein. These two aren’t just behind the wheel; they’re here to spread joy and hot dog magic during their pitstop in the Grand Strand. They’ve planned several scheduled appearances that are just too fun to miss!

A Schedule You Can’t Ignore

After a spooktacular appearance at the Cooper House’s trunk-or-treat event on Halloween, the Wienermobile still has three **exciting stops** before it bids adieu to Myrtle Beach:

  • Friday, Nov. 1: Swing by EdVenture Myrtle Beach, located at 4005 Howard Ave, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring the kiddos for a day of fun!
  • Friday, Nov. 1: From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., catch the Wienermobile at JB’s Annual Fall Bash at 10635 Ocean Highway. This event is set to feature live music and a silent auction!
  • Sunday, Nov. 3: The last chance to see the Wienermobile will be at Publix at Forest Square, 2170 Oakheart Road, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Make sure to stop by!

What’s the Wienermobile All About?

Every appearance of the Wienermobile is unique. Sometimes, there are games and activities; other times, it’s simply about enjoying the atmosphere and snapping some fantastic photos. Cooper shared, “We’re spreading smiles, giving out coupons, playing games, and, of course, giving out iconic wiener whistles!”

Now, while you might hope for a hot dog or two, it’s not always guaranteed. “We don’t always give out hot dogs,” Cooper explained. “That’s usually a job for the vendors, but we always encourage them to bring some along; it just adds to the adventure!” So fingers crossed there might be some tasty hot dogs around—who doesn’t love a good dog?

Picture Perfect Moments

Getting a picture with this magnificent hot dog is a must! To capture the entire Wienermobile in your shot, the Hotdoggers suggest positioning yourself a little off to the side of the vehicle instead of right in front of it. If your phone has a zoom option, zooming out can really help fit the Wienermobile into your frame. There will also be some fun photo cutouts, where you can pretend to be a hot dog yourself, or even a spooky “mummy dog” perfect for October!

Don’t Miss Out!

This is a fantastic opportunity to create some fun memories with your family and friends. Don’t let this iconic hot dog vehicle pass by without saying hello! Grab those marvelous photo-ops, score some weenie whistles, and enjoy a day filled with laughter and fun!

So gear up, Myrtle Beach! The Wienermobile is waiting to meet you, and who knows, it might just be the highlight of your weekend!
