Weekend Weather Changes

Myrtle Beach Weather Update: A Weekend of Change!

Hello, Myrtle Beach! We kicked off the weekend with a chilly start on Saturday, where some areas even woke up to temperatures dipping into the mid-30s! But don’t worry, the weather is about to warm up and give us a taste of fall fun.

What to Expect Tonight

Right now, temperatures are bouncing back and are expected to stay above average tonight, with most of us cozying up in the 60s. Perfect weather for a walk on the beach or just hanging out on the porch with a warm drink!

Columbus Day Plans? Yes, Please!

Now, if you’re making plans for Columbus Day on Monday, you’re in luck! It’s shaping up to be the warmest day of the week, with highs reaching into the low to mid-80s. That’s right—a glorious day to enjoy the sun!

Brace for a Windy Day

However, be prepared for some gusty winds on Monday during the late morning and early afternoon. We’re talking about gusts of 15-25 mph. So if you’re planning to do anything outdoors, maybe keep the hat and loose papers indoors!

A Cold Front is Coming

After the warm embrace of Monday, we’ll see a dramatic shift on Tuesday as a cold front sweeps through. Expect a dip in temperatures—low temps will fall into the low to mid-50s, and our high temps could drop 12-15 degrees. Don’t forget to grab that jacket again!

Mild Midweek Ahead

By Wednesday, we will be dealing with mid-60s as the high and low temps will likely hang around the low to mid-40s in the evening. And for those who hate to feel cold, a little heads up—there’s a chance we might see a few upper-30 nights on Wednesday and Thursday! Can you feel the chill?

Golden Weekend on the Horizon

But fear not, fellow beach lovers! As we look ahead to next weekend, temperatures are set to rebound nicely. By Friday, we should see highs creeping back up to the upper-60s to near 70, and Saturday promises to be even better with mid-70s. Perfect weather for all those weekend plans!

Wrapping Up the Weather Talk

So, whether you’re planning a cozy evening or looking to enjoy the warm sunshine on Monday, make sure you stay prepared for what’s coming up. Enjoy your time in Myrtle Beach and make the most of this mix of weather!

That’s all for now, folks! Keep an eye on those changing temperatures and remember to dress for the occasion. Happy Columbus Day and enjoy the beautiful fall vibes!
