Two Women Charged with Attempted Murder Following Stabbing Incident in Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach is buzzing with news after an alarming incident that took place on April 9, 2025. Two local women, Lashenda Lucas, aged 38, and Shaquila Perry, aged 33, now find themselves on the wrong side of the law, facing serious charges including attempted murder following a shocking stabbing incident.

The scene unfolded in the 800 block of Grey Street, where police received a call about a stabbing. Responding officers arrived to discover a male victim at a homeowner’s front door, suffering from at least one significant stab wound to his back. It must have been a horrifying sight for those involved! A witness to the events reported that the victim seemed to have come from a nearby wooded area where a group was camping and possibly fighting just before the stabbing occurred.

What makes this situation all the more intense is the alleged involvement of Lucas, who is accused of luring the victim into the woods with the accusation that he owed her money. Can you imagine the tension? Things quickly escalated into a violent confrontation, during which Lucas is said to have stabbed the victim multiple times, targeting his neck, abdominal area, and back. The nature of these injuries raises serious concerns about the victim’s condition, though information about how he is doing hasn’t been released yet.

After the incident, Lashenda Lucas became a wanted person, and it wasn’t until April 17, 2025, that she was finally apprehended. Authorities spotted her on Nance Street, and she was immediately taken into custody. On top of the attempted murder charge, she faces another serious charge for possession of a weapon during a violent crime. She’s currently behind bars at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center and, if she wants to be released, she has a bond set at a hefty $100,000.

Meanwhile, Shaquila Perry was also arrested in connection to the incident. She was booked into the same detention center on April 19, with her bond also set at $100,000. It appears this case is unfolding rapidly, and as more information comes to light, it’s likely to keep evolving!

Witnesses have described hearing loud noises and fighting sounds from the area where the victim was ultimately found. It gives a vivid picture of a chaotic scene filled with tension and panic. Can you even imagine what it must have been like for the people living nearby? A stabbing right in their neighborhood!

This incident serves as a sobering reminder of how quickly situations can escalate and the dangers involved when personal disagreements turn violent. Police are continuing their investigation, trying to piece together all the details and ensure that justice is served in this unsettling case.

Myrtle Beach residents are understandably concerned, and many are following the developments closely. Local authorities have been emphasizing the importance of reaching out if anyone has additional information regarding the incident. With two women now charged and another victim recovering, this case highlights the critical need for community vigilance and support during these difficult times.

As the days go by, the legal process will likely take center stage. Both Lucas and Perry are now making headlines, and many in Myrtle Beach wonder what the next steps will look like. With so many questions left unanswered, one can only hope for a speedy resolution that brings clarity and peace back to the community.

Stay tuned for more updates as this thrilling case unfolds!
