Enjoy a meal and pickleball at Bistro B in Myrtle Beach.
Bistro B, a unique dining experience for food and pickleball lovers, has opened in Myrtle Beach. Located on Kings Highway, it features a diverse menu and on-site pickleball courts. Local entrepreneurs aim to create a community hub where patrons can enjoy delicious meals and engage in the growing sport of pickleball. Plans for a new pickleball facility, The PicklePort, will further enhance the local pickleball scene.
Hey there, Myrtle Beach! If you’re a fan of food and fun, you’re in for a treat. A brand new pickleball restaurant, Bistro B, has just opened its doors on Kings Highway. Not only can you satisfy your cravings with a delicious menu that features everything from Brazilian-style sushi and juicy burgers to savory steak and even fish and chips, but you can also swing your racket at the on-site pickleball courts right after your meal!
Bistro B is brought to you by local entrepreneurs Joseph and Barri Nadi, who have a vision to serve up a wonderful variety of dishes that everyone can enjoy. You could go for the hearty cornish hen, or maybe indulge in the red snapper if you’re in the mood for something lighter. Seriously, with options ranging from pizza to sushi, there’s something to tickle everyone’s taste buds!
This funky eatery also features lovely outdoor patio seating, perfect for enjoying a sunset while you munch on your favorite dishes. And let’s not forget about the pickleball courts—what a great way to blend a love for food and sport! Pickleball is quickly becoming one of the hottest sports in the country, and Bistro B is right on trend.
But the excitement doesn’t end there! In addition to Bistro B, Myrtle Beach is about to take its pickleball game to a whole new level. There are plans for a massive 6-acre pickleball facility named “The PicklePort,” set to emerge near the Whispering Pines Golf Course, conveniently located across from Myrtle Beach International Airport. This facility is expected to offer both indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, proudly catering to both local residents and enthusiastic tourists alike.
City Council has already approved a letter of intent to begin facility development, a clear sign of the rising demand for dedicated pickleball spaces in our area. People are increasingly finding it challenging to get enough time on the courts at existing locations, and this new development could be just what we need!
The sport is currently enjoying a massive upswing, with participation soaring by an astounding 223% nationwide over the past three years. It’s no wonder that local sporting goods stores, like Dick’s Sporting Goods, are thriving with sales in pickleball paddles and accessories. What makes pickleball so appealing? It’s easy to learn, less physically demanding than other racquet sports, and most importantly, it’s fun for people of all ages! From grandma to grandkids, everyone can get in on the action!
Looking to the future, North Myrtle Beach will also see some exciting changes, with plans to enhance the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center by adding even more pickleball courts. A total of $5.6 million is being allocated for these improvements, with the new courts expected to open by spring 2026. Talk about a pickleball renaissance!
As Bistro B aims to make itself a hub for regular patrons, it’s planning to roll out a club that includes some nifty perks like a free Bistro B racket. This kind of community-focused approach not only fosters friendships but ensures that pickleball remains accessible for everyone. Furthermore, with expansion plans on the horizon that include extending business hours and introducing a drive-thru, this restaurant is shaping up to be a delightful destination for food and fun combined.
Myrtle Beach is buzzing with excitement, and with all these new developments in the pickleball scene, there’s never been a better time to get involved. Whether you’re an avid player or just looking for a fun day out with family and friends, it seems like the future of pickleball and dining is bright in our lovely city!
