Myrtle Beach Board Approves Plan for Dozens of New Homes Near Coastal Grand Mall

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Exciting new developments are on the horizon in the heart of Myrtle Beach, as the Community Appearance Board has approved the final conceptual review of an ambitious project that will bring dozens of new homes to the area. This project, named The Grove, is set to create a vibrant new residential hub near the popular Coastal Grand Mall.

Plans for The Grove Development

The Grove Development, proposed to take shape at 1200 Pine Island Road, will potentially bring as many as 44 single-family homes and 12 townhomes to the local community. This robust development aims not only to provide top-notch residential facilities but also to enhance the landscape of Myrtle Beach, contributing positively to the city’s growth and development.

From the start, the developers focused on creating an integrated neighborhood that preserves the aesthetic charm of Myrtle Beach while providing residents with the convenience of living near the bustling hub of Coastal Grand Mall.

New 7-11 Convenience Store Proposed

Besides housing, plans are in store for commercial developments in the city as well. A potential new 7-11 convenience store is on the cards for the Marina Parkway area, at 79th Avenue N. The proposed project features a sprawling 4,779-square-foot convenience store, accompanied by a fuel canopy and a dedicated parking area. The store is expected to provide enhanced amenities to residents and visitors alike, upping the convenience quotient in the neighborhood.

The board is yet to vote on this project, with a final review necessary before the decision is made. The thriving development and expansion of Myrtle Beach continually prove its vibrancy as a flourishing city on the Atlantic coast.
