Myrtle Beach Hosts 15th Annual I Love Seafood Fest, Celebrating Culinary Delights and Community Spirit

Myrtle Beach Celebrates the I Love Seafood Fest!

Today, the beautiful coastal city of Myrtle Beach was buzzing with excitement as seafood lovers gathered for the 15th annual I Love Seafood Fest. Now in its third year holding the event right here in Myrtle Beach, this celebration has quickly become a favorite for locals and visitors alike!

Seafood Galore!

The air was filled with the mouthwatering aroma of the freshest catches and savory delights. It was hard not to get distracted by the amazing offerings from local vendors. One of the highlights was Holden Beach Seafood, a local gem down in Holden Beach that helped whip up an incredible selection of seafood dishes. “We pride ourselves on the freshest catch and we want everyone to come out and enjoy the I Love Seafood Fest,” said Darryl Dayson, an event organizer. And you could tell he meant it!

Delicious Collaborations

This year’s fest was a tasty collaboration as well, teaming up with the likes of Rich Eats and Gator Girl to serve up some unforgettable dishes. Plus, there was even a big vendor from Atlanta that brought their barbecue magic to the party! Whether you were craving shrimp, crab, or BBQ, there was something to tickle everyone’s taste buds.

Fun for Everyone

But it wasn’t just about the food! Attendees were treated to live music that kept spirits high and dancing feet moving. The performers brought an energetic vibe that made the atmosphere even more festive. Plus, there were interactive cooking demonstrations where aspiring chefs could learn a few tricks of the trade. This was like a culinary school right outside in the sunshine!

Giving Back to the Community

What makes this festival even better is that part of the proceeds from ticket sales go to a nonprofit youth and mental health initiative. Enjoying great seafood while also supporting a good cause? Count us in! It’s heartwarming to see the community come together not just for fun, but also to give back where it counts.
