Myrtle Beach Launches “Color the Weather” Initiative to Inspire Young Artists

Exciting Times Ahead in Myrtle Beach!

Hey Myrtle Beach, it’s time to grab your crayons and channel your inner artist! If you haven’t heard yet, there’s a fun new way to brighten your mornings and show off your creativity, and it comes straight from our very own community! That’s right—the Color the Weather initiative is here, and it’s as delightful as a sunny day at the beach.

What’s Color the Weather?

Every weekday morning, our local news is featuring a special segment where kids can showcase their weather-inspired drawings. All you’ve got to do is color a picture that reflects the weather you see outside. Whether it’s a stormy sky, a sunny beach day, or a fall scene with pumpkins and leaves, your work of art could be featured on the screen! How cool is that?

Parents, listen up! Encourage your little ones to get creative, because this isn’t just about fun; it’s about being part of something bigger! Imagine the excitement on their faces when they see their masterpiece on TV. Just send their colorful creations to: Color The Weather, c/o News13, 101 McDonald Court, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588.

When to Watch and What to Expect

Want to catch the drawings live? Make sure to tune in to our morning show at 5 a.m. and 6 a.m.. For those who may still be in their pajamas, don’t worry, it will still be there to watch later! Who wouldn’t love starting off their day with a little creativity and local flair?

Time to Gear Up for Fall

As we shift gears into the cozy fall season, Myrtle Beach is the perfect place to embrace that pumpkin spice lifestyle—we all know what that means! While you’re at it, why not invest in some fall-themed cookware? Le Creuset has just launched some delightful autumnal pieces that’ll make your kitchen feel like home. Whether you’re whipping up a hearty soup or baking your first pumpkin pie of the season, these will definitely do the trick!

Stay Warm this Chilly Season

And if the temperature drops, trust us, you’ll want to keep your garage comfortable too. Before you know it, we’ll all be reaching for our favorite sweaters. Investing in a good heater now is key to keeping that chill at bay. It’s all about being prepared for the season ahead!

Halloween Fun for the Little Ones

Speaking of seasons, let’s talk about Halloween! If your kids are as excited about Halloween as they are about their favorite plush toys, you might want to check out the latest craze: Halloween Squishmallows! These adorable and cuddly toys are perfect for snuggling on those spooky nights. Your kids will absolutely adore them, and they make great gifts for trick-or-treating buddies, too!

Wrap-Up

Myrtle Beach, it’s a great time to be inspired and get involved! Whether you’re coloring in the Color the Weather contest, cooking up a storm with beautiful new cookware, staying warm as the temperatures drop, or gearing up for Halloween with the cutest of toys, there’s no shortage of excitement right now.

So grab your markers, get that heater sorted, and let’s dive straight into this beautiful season together. We can’t wait to see all the amazing submissions and watch some of our talented little artists shine! Happy coloring, everyone!
