Myrtle Beach Ready to Swing into the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic!

Excitement is building as Myrtle Beach prepares to host the much-anticipated ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic from May 8 to May 11 at the stunning Dunes Golf and Beach Club. This year’s tournament is all about enhancing the experience for fans, and organizers have announced some delightful new features that are sure to make the event even more enjoyable for everyone attending.

Food and Fun for Everyone!

For those of you planning to partake in the tournament, you’ll be thrilled to find that there’s a whole new level of dining options. This year’s event will see traditional concession stands accompanied by a variety of food trucks set up in a dedicated food court in the Fan Zone, which is conveniently located right next to the 17th green. Whether you’re craving a quick snack or something more substantial, there will be plenty of choices to satisfy your taste buds!

But that’s not all! The Fan Zone is designed to bring out the festival spirit, offering a lively atmosphere where you can relax, mingle, and enjoy some great music. Speaking of music, get ready for two fantastic post-round concerts! On Thursday, the legendary Chairmen of the Board will light up the stage, followed by Tyler Hubbard taking the spotlight on Saturday. Both concerts start after the game wraps up for the day, making for a perfect way to unwind!

Shopping at the Sand Bucket Surf Shop

Sand Bucket Surf Shop, located right on the oceanside lawn next to the main entrance. This beach-themed merchandise area will feature an array of fun items including T-shirts, beach towels, hoodies, straw hats, and even surfboards. Dennis Nicholl, the PGA director of golf at the Dunes Club, proudly shared that this themed merchandise shop is a first for the PGA TOUR, and it’s sure to be a hit among visitors looking to bring a piece of the action home with them.

Getting Involved as a Volunteer

2025 tournament will open on February 5. Volunteers aged 18 and older are invited to apply for various roles such as gallery management, competition support, and player services. It’s a great way to immerse yourself in the excitement and be part of a memorable event!

Qualifying for a Spot in the Main Event

The Q at Myrtle Beach, which serves as a qualifier for the 2025 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic. The 18-hole qualifier took place on March 3 at TPC Myrtle Beach, and the winner will be announced on May 5 through a highlight video on YouTube. The Q event is already receiving accolades for its creativity and audience engagement, and last year’s competition saw a thrilling playoff between Matt Atkins and George Bryan IV!
