MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Two men each facing multiple counts of attempted murder were arrested in the Carolina Forest area on Thursday. The U.S. Marshals Service confirmed that Antonio Ingram and Jalyen Ingram were each arrested by its regional task force. The two were wanted in Horry County on four counts of attempted murder as well as possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The Horry County Police Department responded to assist a partner agency, and residents may have seen vehicles responding along Carolina Forest Boulevard. Carolina Forest Elementary School was placed on lockdown while an investigation occurred. The lockdown lasted around 10 minutes before students and staff were given the all-clear.
