Man Charged in Murder of 21-Year-Old in Easley, Deputies Inform

The sheriff’s office on August 15 identified the victim as 21-year-old Cory Ryder Vickery, who was found with multiple gunshot wounds outside a house on Donna Lane back on August 3. Vickery later succumbed to his injuries, taking a tragic turn. The accused, whose name as released by officials is Micah Javon Duckett, was taken into custody from his residence a day prior to the disclosure of the case details. Duckett, as per the deputies, had reportedly planned to meet the victim at the place of the incident.

The warrant pointed towards a planned rendezvous between the victim Vickery and the prime suspect Duckett at the very venue where the shooting transpired.
