Myrtle Beach Introduces New Indoor Golf Facilities

News Summary

Myrtle Beach is enhancing its golfing scene with three new indoor golf facilities, including the Mashie Golf Institute, Golfluent, and Performance Indoor Golf. These venues offer state-of-the-art simulators, practice areas, and membership options, making golf accessible year-round. Each facility provides a unique experience tailored to golfers of all skill levels, promising a community-focused environment for both experienced and novice players to improve their game and enjoy the sport, regardless of weather conditions.

Myrtle Beach Welcomes New Indoor Golf Facilities for All Golf Lovers!

If you’re a golf enthusiast or a family looking for some fun activities, Myrtle Beach has something exciting brewing just for you! Known as a golfer’s paradise, this beautiful coastal city boasts hundreds of golf courses along the stunning Grand Strand. And now, with the arrival of three new indoor golf facilities, the golfing experience here is about to get even better!

Mashie Golf Institute: A Family Venture

Let’s dive into the first gem on the list: the Mashie Golf Institute. Opened by local father and son duo, Chris and Rob Griffin, this brand new facility has transformed an old CVS training site into an incredible 8,000-square-foot indoor golf space! This place is all set to be a major attraction for golfers of every skill level.

Chris Griffin, having recently moved back from California, reignited his love for the sport and spent roughly $11,000 enhancing his skills on the greens. Now, he’s bringing that passion back home to Myrtle Beach. The institute currently boasts a putting green, three high-tech golf simulators, and plans to hire a PGA Golf pro soon to elevate training sessions even further.

Mashie Golf Institute is specially designed to be open year-round, unaffected by unpredictable weather, giving golfers the chance to improve their swings whenever they want. They will offer services like putting and chipping practice, along with those shiny simulators, making it the perfect place for golfers to hone their skills.

The soft opening is already underway, but mark your calendars for the grand opening scheduled for February 2025. And if you’re looking to get a membership, prices start at $249 to $349 per month, or you can snag a lifetime membership for $12,000. Day passes will also be available, making it easy to swing by anytime.

Enter Golfluent and Performance Indoor Golf

But that’s not all! Just up the road in Little River, another exciting indoor training facility, Golfluent, is slated to open early to mid-January. This charming space will feature five state-of-the-art simulators that cater to golfers of all levels. Golfluent is designed to create a family-friendly atmosphere and will offer rental bays starting at just $40 for a half-hour session, making it perfect for all ages!

And let’s not forget Performance Indoor Golf, which opened its doors in Pawleys Island last September. This facility has three hitting bays complete with advanced Trackman technology—as high-tech as it gets! They also have a variety of membership options, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

All of these new additions bring not only top-notch facilities with simulators armed with launch monitors and data tracking features but also a sense of community that invites golfers to come together, learn, and improve their game.

A Whole New Indoor Golfing Adventure

The introduction of these indoor facilities follows the wave created by Topgolf back in 2019, but here’s the twist they bring: it’s all about staying warm and dry indoors while engaging in the sport we love. Each facility offers something unique—while Mashie and Performance primarily stick to a membership model, Golfluent focuses more on short-term rentals, blending entertainment with a love for golf.

So whether you’re a seasoned golfer looking to fine-tune your skills or a beginner wanting to have some fun, Myrtle Beach is opening its doors to you. The Mashie Golf Institute, Golfluent, and Performance Indoor Golf are all set to elevate your golfing experience, promising a community-oriented vibe that welcomes one and all. Swing by to check them out and take your game to new heights!
