Prepare for the Dash: Ed’s Hurricane Hustle this Weekend in Conway

CONWAY, S.C. — The upcoming Ed’s Hurricane Hustle is set to bring excitement with a 5K and a one-mile fun run at Coastal Carolina University this Saturday, June 1, 2024.

Event Details

The 5K will begin at 8 a.m. followed by the one-mile fun run at 8:10 a.m. Participants should register before May 30 to secure a spot at a lower fee.

Packet Pick-Up Information

Race packets should be picked up at Black Dog Running Company on the day before the event, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., located at 1600 Farrow Parkway Unit B-1, or at Brooks Stadium on the morning of the race from 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

Parking and Route

Available parking will be in the GG and KK lots on the university campus. The race will finish on the Teal Turf at Brooks Stadium.

Post-Race Activities: Hurricane Expo

The Hurricane Expo will take place after the race, featuring exhibits specializing in hurricane preparedness. Chief Meteorologist Ed Piotrowski will discuss the 2024 hurricane forecast and past storm impacts.

Additional Event Highlights

The weekend’s entertainment will include a concert featuring Beach Boys and John Stamos in North Myrtle Beach.
