Horry County Schools district in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has initiated its summer feeding program for the young citizens, starting June 11 to ensure they stay nutritious during the break.
This program is targeted at children who are below the age of 18. The program requires children to consume meals on-site. The district has marked out specific locations across the county where families can pick these meals.
The meals are available for collection at the mentioned sites from 10:45 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. throughout July, on specific dates.
The school district will close the elementary and middle school sites on July 4, while high school distribution sites will remain closed from July 1–5. The district will provide updates and additional information about the program as needed.
