Horry County Schools Offering Free Summer Lunches for Students In an effort to keep its young citizens healthy and well-nourished during the summer months, the Horry County Schools district in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has announced that it is once again launching its summer feeding program starting June 11. Feeding Program Details The program is aimed at children aged 18 and younger, and will necessitate on-site consumption of the meals. The initiative encourages families across the county to visit the closest participating locations based on sites identified by the district. Distribution Times and Locations The meals will be available for pick-up at the designated locations from 10:45 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. through various dates in July. Through July 10 Carolina Forest Elementary School Homewood Elementary School Loris Elementary School Myrtle Beach Elementary School Midland Elementary School Ocean Drive Elementary School Forestbrook Elementary School Through July 16 Conway Middle School Forestbrook Middle School Myrtle Beach Middle School North Myrtle Beach Middle School SOAR Academy Ten Oaks Middle School (Open June 17–27 only) Through July 18 Carolina Forest High School Conway High School Loris High School North Myrtle Beach High School Socastee High School Closure Days The school district has noted that elementary and middle school sites will be closed on July 4. Additionally, high school distribution sites will be closed from July 1–5. Updates to the program and further information will be made available as necessary.

Horry County Schools Offering Free Summer Lunches for Students

Horry County Schools district in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has initiated its summer feeding program for the young citizens, starting June 11 to ensure they stay nutritious during the break.

About the Feeding Program

This program is targeted at children who are below the age of 18. The program requires children to consume meals on-site. The district has marked out specific locations across the county where families can pick these meals.

School Closure Dates

The school district will close the elementary and middle school sites on July 4, while high school distribution sites will remain closed from July 1–5. The district will provide updates and additional information about the program as needed.
