This celebrated event served as a key platform for homeowners, builders, and real estate aficionados to explore an expansive range of innovative products and services that cater to various dimensions of home construction and improvement.
The Home Show featured a staggering lineup of more than 300 vendors, all eager to share their expertise in fields such as real estate, home construction, home improvement, and chic home decor. From innovative building techniques to the latest trends in interior design, guests were given a rare opportunity to shop, learn, and connect with industry professionals dedicated to enhancing the homeownership experience.
In a heartwarming segment of the event, the Grand Strand Humane Society facilitated an adoption booth where attendees could meet potential furry companions. With over 300 pets ready for adoption, this initiative aimed to promote animal welfare while enhancing community spirit. Alongside the pet adoptions, a silent auction was held to benefit the Humane Society, featuring unique pet items, home improvement products, furniture, and outdoor living essentials. This focused effort not only encouraged responsible pet ownership but also sought to raise critical funds for local animal rescue initiatives.
Amidst the buzz of activity, the Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild showcased its vibrant artistry, adding a creative flair to the already bustling atmosphere. This fusion of home-building and artistry provided a platform for local artisans to connect with prospective customers and fellow craftsmen.
Central to this year’s Home Show was a strong emphasis on learning and acquiring new skills. Attendees could immerse themselves in hands-on workshops, demonstrations, and informative seminars designed to inspire innovative home projects. Notable workshops included rose gardening sessions hosted by experts from Witherspoon Rose Culture and practical gardening advice from Clemson Extension Master Gardeners. In addition, culinary demonstrations and a captivating charcuterie board workshop featuring local chefs and Levé Bakery tantalized food lovers, showcasing the local cuisine and culinary creativity in Myrtle Beach.
The Specialty Market Place was a delightful addition to this year’s show, offering gourmet treats such as jams, BBQ sauces, and a selection of artisan teas that appealed to all palates. The Home Show has continuously evolved over the years, with plans for the 2025 event already in place. Slated to take place from February 21-23, the upcoming Home Show will expand dramatically from 66,000 square feet to 100,000 square feet, enhancing the experience with even more industry professionals, products, and services.
With event hours set for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, the Home Show provided ample time for attendees to experience everything on offer. Admission to the event was priced at a modest $5 per day for adults, with a 3-day pass available for just $10. Children under the age of 16 were welcomed for free, making it a family-friendly affair.
