Grab your hot cocoa, gather your friends and family, and check out these nine amazing holiday light shows around Horry and Georgetown County!

1. Celebration of Lights

Days: December 5-8, 12-15, 19-22, 24 and 25
Hours: 6-9 p.m.
Location: Ashpond Road and Marina Drive

If you loved the spooky vibes of Conway’s Halloween decorations, wait until you see its Celebration of Lights! Drive through this enchanting light display for just $2 per person in your vehicle. The transformation of downtown into a winter wonderland is something you simply can’t miss!

2. Christmas Trolley of Lights

Date: December 20
Hours: 5-8 p.m.
Location: 400 Surfside Drive, Surfside Beach, SC 29575

For one magical night only, hop on a free trolley to tour the best lights and holiday displays in Surfside Beach! Along with the dazzling views, you’ll enjoy free cocoa, tasty treats, and the festive tunes of a holiday DJ. Kids are in for a treat with face painting, balloon art, and visits from Christmas characters at Memorial Park. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the spirit of the season!

3. GiGi Martin Christmas Lighting Display

Days: Nightly
Hours: 5:30-10:00 or 10:30 p.m.
Location: 1215 Cedar Drive N., Surfside Beach, SC 29575

This beloved Surfside tradition since 1982 is a must-see! The GiGi Martin Christmas Light Display is free for all, but donations for the Champion Autism Network and gifts for Toys for Tots are happily accepted. Be sure to visit on Tuesday, December 10 or 17, when Santa himself will make an appearance around 5:45 p.m.!

4. Grand Strand Christmas Light Show

Days: December 6-8, 13-15, 19-24 and 26-29
Hours: 5-7 p.m. and 8-10 p.m.
Location: 311 Bonnie Bay Road, Loris, SC 29569

Experience a half-mile walking tour of exciting light displays at the Grand Strand Christmas Light Show! Enjoy children’s activities, meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and indulge in delicious food. Tickets are available online and will be for sale on-site, making it easy to secure your spot!

5. The Great Christmas Light Show

Days: Nightly, closed Christmas Day
Hours: 5:30-9:30 p.m.
Location: 150 Citizens Circle, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582

This spectacular show features over 2 million lights along a 2-mile drive. Don’t forget to stop by Santa’s Village; it’s packed with festive fun, including a petting zoo and tasty treats. Tickets can be purchased on-site and are quite affordable for families!

6. Nights of a Thousand Candles

Days: December 4-8, 11-15, 18-22, 31 and January 1-5
Hours: 4-9 p.m.
Location: 1931 Brookgreen Drive, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576

Experience the magic of over 2,700 hand-lit candles and millions of lights at Brookgreen Gardens. Enjoy live music while indulging in tasty food from different trucks. Don’t forget to get there early to avoid traffic!

7. Ugly Sweater Light up the Night Holiday Ride

Date: December 12
Hours: Starts at 6 p.m.
Location: 3421 Knoles St., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

Join this fun 8-to-10-mile bike ride for some pre-holiday exercise! While wearing an ugly Christmas sweater isn’t mandatory, it sure adds to the fun. Start your adventure at Tidal Creek Brewhouse and roll through the twinkling lights!

8. MarshWalk Wonderland of Lights

Days: Nightly
Hours: 5-11 p.m.
Location: 4025 Highway 17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576

Take a stroll along MarshWalk, where dazzling lights will greet you. Snap photos with a giant Christmas tree and more! There’s no entry fee, so enjoy food, drinks, and festive shopping while you revel in the holiday spirit!

9. Winter Wonderland at the Beach

Days: Nightly
Hours: 5-9 p.m.
Location: 2nd Avenue North to 10 Avenue North

Walk along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and get ready to be mesmerized by a mile-long light show! Be sure to check if any special Winter Wonderland events are happening while you’re there—like caroling or live DJ performances!
