After an impressive $35 million renovation, this fantastic resort is now ready to offer visitors a taste of luxurious coastal living, all in time for their 40th anniversary celebrating countless happy guests.

In between these towers, you’ll find the lively lobby, various restaurants, and even a boutique for those looking to pick up a souvenir or two. Downstairs, the Spa Tower features a serene spa and salon, a fitness center, and an indoor swimming pool. What more could you ask for?

The highlight, of course, is the sprawling sundeck, where palm trees sway gracefully and cobalt blue umbrellas beckon guests to lounge by the pool. Just beyond lies the stunning beach, kissed by the Gulf of Mexico’s crystal-clear waters. Lovers of sports will revel in the chance to explore four golf courses and over a dozen tennis courts within the Sandestin area. As if that weren’t enough, there’s also great access to nearby state parks, a unique underwater art museum, Silver Sands Premium Outlets, and scenic hiking and biking trails.

During my delightful stay, I settled into a spacious junior suite that boasted a balcony with spectacular views of both the beach and the swimming pools. My suite had all the comforts you could wish for: a cozy king-sized bed, a sofa sleeper, and a nifty bunk bed nook complete with its own TV! Each room features a coffee station, microwave, and mini-fridge – perfect for those late-night snacks!

Speaking of the beach – oh, the beauty of Miramar Beach! The soft, white sands blend seamlessly with the vibrant emerald waves of the Gulf. Guests can grab a couple of lounge chairs and an umbrella at the resort’s Beach Hut to stake out a comfortable spot by the sea. Want more action? No problem! The resort arranges for kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, beach volleyball, and cozy bonfires featuring s’mores. Talk about a beach day well spent!

For relaxation seekers, the award-winning Serenity by the Sea Spa offers a menu filled with blissful treatments, including revamped touchless wellness options that let you unwind without the usual close contact. I had a rejuvenating Swedish-style massage followed by the amazing touchless hydrojet massage, which was quite the treat! They also have gentle red light therapy that many raved about, claiming it boosts collagen and overall wellness.

After working up an appetite, it was time to explore the resort’s incredible dining options. With six restaurants on-site, there’s something for every palate! My absolute favorite was Seagar’s, the resort’s fine dining venue known for its prime beef and fresh seafood. Impressively, it’s been recognized as a AAA Four Diamond Steakhouse since 2000! We couldn’t resist ordering the classic Caesar salad, filet of Dover sole, and the flaming bananas Foster. Pure delight!

Casual dining lovers can flock to Sandcastles Restaurant for local flavors or fun at the Sandcastles Lounge, a vibrant sports bar atmosphere to catch the game. And let’s not forget Hadashi Sushi Bar for fresh sushi or Barefoot’s Beachside Bar & Grill for a taste of beachy casual eats! Whatever your mood, the Hilton Sandestin has you covered.

Exploring the Area

All set to hit the town? Hop on a complimentary tram to visit The Village of Baytowne Wharf, a lively spot filled with charming shops and restaurants, and enjoy live entertainment galore! We hopped aboard the gorgeous Solaris yacht for a cruise around Choctawhatchee Bay where we spotted playful dolphins frolicking in the waters!
