Halloween is just around the corner, and you know what that means! Exciting events are brewing all around Myrtle Beach that are sure to put you in a spooky, fun mood. Whether you’re a kid or just a kid at heart, there’s plenty happening this weekend that will thrill and chill!
Kicking things off, we’ve got the 2024 Surfside Beach Halloween Golf Cart Parade this Saturday at 3 p.m. This year’s parade promises to be as colorful and creative as ever! Imagine an entire parade of decked-out golf carts cruising through the streets, and it all starts at Poplar Drive South and 3rd Avenue South. The route is set to take participants west on 3rd Avenue South, turn right on Floral Drive, and then glide east onto Surfside Drive right up to Ocean Boulevard!
Don’t forget to keep an eye out for some fantastic decorations and maybe even some surprise performances along the way. If you’re in the parade, feel free to loop back downtown using 3rd Avenue South to soak in even more of that Halloween spirit!
Looking for something more interactive? Head over to the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex on October 26 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for the Halloween BOOnanza! This event is a dream come true for families looking to enjoy the holiday in a fun, safe environment. With activities that range from magic shows to marshmallow roasting, kids will have plenty to keep them entertained.
And that’s not all! There are going to be games and inflatables that will make it an unforgettable evening. Make sure to come dressed in your best Halloween costume – you never know what surprises await!
If you’re up for a little road trip, the city of Georgetown is also getting into the spooky spirit with a trick-or-treating event on October 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.. This is an excellent opportunity for kiddos 12 and under to fill their bags with candy along Front Street. It’s always great to see the little ones in their costumes, so why not take a stroll and enjoy a night filled with sugary smiles?
But wait, there’s more! Downtown Conway is also transformed into a Halloween wonderland, featuring a slew of events that are worth checking out. The community has really come together to ensure that everyone can enjoy this festive season. With shops decorated in fantastic themes and businesses offering special deals, you can treat yourself while you’re at it!
This weekend is shaping up to be a true celebration for all things Halloween in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas. Gather your friends and family, grab your costumes, and get ready for a weekend full of fun, laughter, and maybe a fright or two!
So whether you’re racing in the golf cart parade, enjoying the BOOnanza, or trick-or-treating in Georgetown, make sure to soak it all in. Who wouldn’t want to create some treasured memories this Halloween season?
