For those looking to keep their game sharp this winter, the Weekly Winter League at Founders Club Pawleys Island kicks off on November 5! Each Tuesday, players can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with a two-person gross scramble format. The 2:30 PM shotgun start gives you plenty of time to get out there before dinner, and for just $28 weekly, the deal includes skins, closest to the pin competitions, delicious finger food, and happy hour pricing. As we dive into February, two exciting tournaments await. First up is the Fiddler on the Green on February 22, hosted at the Arcadian Shores Golf Club. It’s a four-person team captain’s choice format starting at 10 AM. The entry fee is $125 per player, and don’t forget to register by February 7. Simultaneously on February 22, the Fifth TGS Scholarship Tournament takes place at the Heritage Club with a similar four-person captain’s choice format. And let’s not forget, the winning team will cruise away with a 4-day trip for two!
On February 24, show your support at the Athletes Against Bullies 2-Man Charity Scramble at Pine Lakes Country Club. With an entry fee of $500 for a two-player team and a tremendous prize fund of $15,000 up for grabs, this event is surely going to be a hit. To ensure a spot, be sure to register by January 20.
Additionally, the Waterway House Sports & Spirits Charity Tournament on March 3 at Azalea Sands Golf Club is another great chance to give back while enjoying the game. For $150, players can participate in the 10 AM shotgun start which includes lunch and welcome gifts.
With March comes the excitement of the Dustin Johnson World Junior from February 28 to March 2 at TPC Myrtle Beach. This 54-hole invitational not only showcases elite international talent but features free entry for spectators, making it an event the public can enjoy too.
