FIRST ALERT: Fall-Like Weather Sets In with Potential for Late Week Rain

Comfortable Conditions Carry on Until Midweek

A refreshing taste of fall has settled over Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, promising another couple of days of comfortable weather before chances of rainfall increase towards the end of the week. Temperatures are projected to slide further into cooler regions as the night progresses, settling in the lower sixties inland and upper sixties along the coastline.

Another great morning awaits Wednesday with the continuation of crisp temperatures and a soothing breeze, rounding up a remarkable taste of early autumn.

Wednesday Weather Forecast

The cold front that has ushered in the agreeable weather is expected to stall offshore on Wednesday. The front will remain close enough that periods of cloud cover are expected to increase throughout the day. However, the humidity levels and temperatures will continue to be moderate with afternoon highs returning to the lower 80s.

Weather Outlook for the Rest of the Week

It appears that a low-pressure system may form along the stalled front by Saturday, which will increase chances for showers to conclude the workweek and kickoff the weekend. Current data indicates a slightly delayed onset of this system, with more southern distribution than previously projected. As a result, rain chances currently sit at around 40 percent; however, this is subject to adjustment as the weekend draws nearer.

Weekend Weather Highlights

Off and on showers are anticipated for Saturday, as low pressure continues its movement through the region. A few showers are also expected to linger into the early hours of Sunday, rounding up a potentially wet weekend to follow a taste of fall.

With the onset of a fresh fall season, we’ll keep monitoring the weather patterns to provide the most accurate forecasts. Stay tuned to HERE News Network for up-to-the-minute weather updates as the week progresses.
