Myrtle Beach Welcomes Fall Festivities!

As the nights start to cool and our beautiful South Carolina leaves shift into shades of gold, it looks like the Grand Strand is rolling out the red carpet for fall! There’s so much to do this November, and a whole bunch of events that you absolutely won’t want to miss. So, grab your jackets, gather your friends, and get ready to dive into this season of fun!

Art Under the Oaks

First up, we have the Art Under the Oaks happening on November 2nd and 3rd at the Litchfield Marketplace, located at 115 Willbrook Blvd., Pawleys Island. This isn’t your ordinary art show! Visitors can browse through stunning pottery, woodworking, jewelry, and photography from local artisans. And that’s not all; you can also enjoy live music, delicious food, and enter some raffles for a chance to win great prizes!

Waccamaw Cultural Arts Festival

Just a hop away, on the same weekend, is the Waccamaw Cultural Arts Festival and Pauwau at 591 Bluewater Road, Aynor. This festival is packed with exciting activities including traditional dancing, storytelling, and demonstrations from the Waccamaw Indian People. Make sure to check out the mouth-watering food and unique crafts available from Indigenous vendors. Not only is it a feast for the senses, but it’s also a fantastic cultural experience!

The Chilympics

On November 3rd, head over to Murrells Inlet for the 22nd Annual Chilympics at The Wicked Tuna, located at 4123 U.S. 17. If you’re a chili lover, this is your moment to shine! With live music, local vendors, and tons of delicious chili to sample, you won’t want to miss out. There are several categories like hottest, best vegetarian, and the coveted best overall. Plus, participants can snag over $1,000 in cash and prizes!

Victorian Christmas Marketplace

From November 7th to 10th, the Myrtle Beach Convention Center at 2101 N. Oak St. will transform into a cozy holiday wonderland with a Victorian Style Christmas Marketplace. This unique event is perfect for those who love shopping for one-of-a-kind gifts and crafts. Hundreds of vendors will be showcasing gourmet food, decor, and more, all while dressed in charming Victorian attire. And who could forget about Santa? He’ll be making a special appearance too! Enjoy live music, tea leaf readings, and unique shadow box displays while you shop to your heart’s content.

Mythical and Medieval Fest

Finally, put on your fantasy hats for the 11th Annual Mythical and Medieval Fest on November 9-10 and 16-17 at RH Acres, located at 3833 Socastee Blvd. This isn’t just any festival; it’s Myrtle Beach’s only Renaissance festival! Get ready for fantastical shows, music, and a variety of crafts to check out. The event will feature an artisan’s village, fairy forest, fire shows, and even some medieval combat. Plus, all the fun helps out a good cause—the festival benefits Caleb’s Dragonfly Dreams, which assists kids in group homes and shelters.

Fall is truly a magical time here in Myrtle Beach, and with so many exciting events coming up this November, you’ll definitely want to get out there and explore! Whether it’s art, culture, food, or fantasy fun, there’s something for everyone on the Grand Strand this season.
