Cooler Days Ahead for Myrtle Beach as Fall Weather Arrives

Cooler Days Ahead in Myrtle Beach!

Good morning, Myrtle Beach! We’re kicking off this lovely Saturday with a breath of fresh, cool air. If you stepped outside this morning, you might have noticed that the humidity has taken a vacation, thanks to a cold front that swept through our area last night. What does this mean for you? Well, it sure feels nice, doesn’t it?

Today’s Outlook

The day started with temperatures hanging out in the upper 50s and mid 60s, and folks, it looks like those numbers are not moving much! Expect those highs to only flirt with the low 70s across the region. So, it’s going to be a pretty stable day temperature-wise.

Now, while you’re enjoying this perfect fall weather, keep in mind that a stiff north to northeast breeze is blowing through. You might want to hold onto your hats—especially along the coast—where gusts could reach a lively 20-25 mph! For those farther inland, watch for winds gusting around 20 mph too. So a light jacket might be a handy accessory for your day!

This Evening

As the sun sets, clear skies will greet you, and the wind should calm down a bit. Temperatures will slide back to a cozy low to mid 50s range tonight, creating the perfect atmosphere for some evening plans. If you’re heading out to the Careteam Plus benefit concert tonight, consider bringing a jacket since it may feel a bit chilly once the sun goes down. Grab a hot drink, enjoy the music, and revel in that crisp fall air!

What’s Coming Tomorrow?

Turning our sights to Sunday, you’ll wake up to a mostly sunny morning, perfect for coffee on the porch! But don’t get too comfortable just yet, as the weather might start to shake things up by the afternoon. Expect clouds to roll in, and who knows, a few isolated showers could join the mix after sunset.

Highs for Sunday are projected to reach the low to mid 70s, so it’s still going to feel pretty nice! Overnight, however, temperatures won’t be dipping as low as tonight, hovering around the low to mid 60s, which isn’t too shabby!

A Stormy Start to the Week?

Now, Monday’s game plan is shaping up with another front moving through our area. That means temperatures could warm back up into the upper 70s. You might want to keep your umbrella handy, as this front may trigger a few showers and thunderstorms. Before you panic, there’s currently no severe weather expected, but we could see some changes depending on how the weather pattern shifts.

The Week Ahead

Looking ahead to Tuesday and beyond, it looks like we’ll be treated to a return of that beautiful sunshine we all love! Highs will settle back into the low 70s, and it looks like the nighttime temperatures will get a little cooler, dipping into the 50s, and we might even see a few spots grazing the 40s by Thursday evening. Just a heads up, folks—a typical fall pattern is settling in!

Time to Cozy Up

As the cooler weather rolls in, it’s time to think about those cozy fall nights! Whether it’s snuggling under a throw blanket, enjoying a hot drink, or maybe trying out Starbucks’ festive holiday menu that officially hits stores on November 7, let’s embrace this beautiful season together!

So there you have it, Myrtle Beach! Enjoy your Saturday, stay warm, and get out there to enjoy all that this fall weather has to offer!
