2024-25 Men’s Golf Schedule Announced by Coastal Carolina University

Exciting Season Ahead for the Chanticleers with Host of High-Caliber Tournaments

CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina University’s men’s golf team is set to embark on an ambitious and competitive journey for the 2024-25 season. Under the guidance of third-year head coach Jacob Wilner, the Chanticleers have unveiled a lineup filled with a roster of tournaments that promise to challenge and showcase the talents of the team.

Fall Season Highlights

The Chants will begin their season at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate, scheduled from September 8-10 at the Grande Dunes Golf Resort in Myrtle Beach, S.C. This event is significant as it is one of two tournaments hosted by Coastal Carolina this year.

Following the opener, the team will compete in the JT Poston Invitational on September 15-17 at the Waynesville Inn and Golf Club, hosted by Western Carolina in Waynesville, N.C.

The fall season concludes with the team’s participation in the West Bay Invitational on October 6-7, and the Qubein Cup at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., hosted by High Point University from October 21-23.

Spring Season Opens with a Flourish

The spring season kicks off at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate on February 1-2, hosted by Georgia Southern at their on-campus golf course in Statesboro, Ga.

The Alumni Match will be held on March 1 at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C., featuring a blend of alumnus engagement and competitive sport with CCU alumni playing alongside current team members.

Subsequent tournaments include appearances at the TPC Sawgrass Country Club in Point Vedra Beach, Fla., and the General James Hackler Championship on March 16-18.

Closing the Regular Season and Beyond

The regular season concludes with the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate on March 23-25 at Bulls Bay Golf Club.

The season finale is the Sun Belt Conference Men’s Golf Championship, held from April 21-24, 2025, at the Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Miss., where the team will vie for conference supremacy.
