Myrtle Beach, South Carolina announces the return of ‘Chef Swap at The Beach‘ for its much-awaited third season. The popular culinary television series boasting an impressive cast of skilled chefs from across the Myrtle Beach area will premiere on Saturday, August 17, at 7 pm. This season promises seven riveting episodes, land marking the series’ contribution to the flourishing culinary scene in the area.
Season Three introduces an all-new lineup of 16 talented chefs, offering viewers a taste of their creative and tantalizing flavors through diverse and elevated menus. ‘Chef Swap at The Beach’ continues to highlight the vibrancy of the culinary scene in Myrtle Beach, with its inclusion of local ingredients sourced straight from farms and seas, further helping to put Myrtle Beach on the global map as a foodie destination.
Renowned Chef Mason Zeglen, two-time winner of Food Network’s “Guy’s Grocery Games” and a previous contestant on “The Big Brunch”, HBO Max, will once again grace the season as its ever-charismatic host. Zeglen, also the proud owner of Milk & Honey Coffee Cafe in Surfside Beach, expressed his excitement about his continuing journey with the hit TV show, and the opportunity to introduce viewers to more extraordinary chefs from Myrtle Beach.
Adding spice to each episode, two regional chefs will swap places in each other’s kitchens, challenging their adaptability and creativity by crafting a new dish using only the available ingredients. The dishes will then be reviewed and rated by experienced industry veterans and judges Dylan Foster and Johanna Wilson Jones. The most thrilling part of the season? The finale episode will feature gastronomic creations by students from the International Culinary Institute, making their mark under accomplished chef mentors.
The lineup boasts a range of chefs from different culinary backgrounds, known each for their unique style and signature dishes. This season’s chefs include Kenny Adams of Wild Wing Golf Course, Aquib Ahmed of Bombay at the Beach, Ivan Almeida of Whiskey Roots, Sundy Barth from the International Culinary Institute, Steve Brown from The Brentwood, Lauren Clever of Bougie Foodie, and many more, evoking a sense of anticipation amongst its viewers.
