News Summary

Carolina Forest is set for growth with the upcoming Chase Bank branch, slated to open in October 2025. Located in the Marketplace at the Mill, this financial institution will provide essential services to meet the rising demands of the rapidly expanding community. With strategic investments and ongoing development in the area, including a new strip mall and restaurants, the Chase Bank will serve as a vital hub for local residents and businesses.

New Banking Hub on the Horizon: Chase Bank Set to Enhance Carolina Forest’s Growth

A wave of transformation is sweeping through Carolina Forest, with the announcement of a new Chase Bank branch that is slated to open its doors in October 2025. As the area continues to expand rapidly, this new banking facility promises to be a vital addition to the community, providing essential financial services amidst ongoing development.

A Prime Location for Financial Services

Construction is underway on a strategically positioned plot of land nestled within the bustling Marketplace at the Mill shopping area. The new bank will be located adjacent to the popular Slim Chickens restaurant, at 135 Sapwood Drive. This site was previously an empty grass field before Slim Chickens opened in 2024, further indicating the dynamic growth occurring in this part of town.

The site has seen a flurry of activity recently, now covered in dirt and surrounded by a fence in preparation for construction. This development marks a significant investment in the area, with JPMorgan Chase Bank having purchased the land for an impressive $1.8 million in November 2024. Following the acquisition, a permit for constructing the new Chase Bank was granted by local authorities in October 2024.

Branch Services to Meet Increasing Demand

As the community grows, so does the need for comprehensive banking services. The forthcoming Chase Bank branch will encompass a spacious 3,333 square feet, designed to cater to a variety of banking needs. Services will include dedicated home lending specialists, a private client banker, state-of-the-art ATMs, and an array of banking services to support the local population. This reflects Chase’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of a growing community.

A Rapidly Developing Area

The intersection of River Oaks Drive and Carolina Forest Boulevard has transformed significantly over recent years, with numerous businesses making their mark. The Marketplace at the Mill has already welcomed a Valvoline service station and a 7-Eleven convenience store as recent additions to the area, both opening in July 2023.

Further demonstrating the area’s rising consumer demand, the Westlake Commons retail spaces along River Oaks Drive recently completed the development of a new five-unit strip mall, commencing leasing operations in 2024. A new Cook Out restaurant also debuted in 2024, adding to the culinary offerings within Carolina Forest.

Future Developments Point to Continued Growth

Exciting developments don’t stop there. Plans are already in motion for an additional strip mall with a multi-floor restaurant located across from International Drive. This ambitious project carries an estimated cost between $7-8 million and is adjacent to a new storage facility currently under construction, signaling further investment in the area.

With these numerous projects and enhancements taking shape, the Carolina Forest area is on the cusp of a financial and commercial renaissance. The upcoming Chase Bank will not only serve as a hub for banking needs but will also symbolize the vibrant growth and community spirit that has emerged in this rapidly expanding locale.

As October 2025 approaches, anticipation builds among residents and business owners alike. The new Chase Bank is poised to become an integral part of the Carolina Forest community, paving the way for additional growth and prosperity.
