CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — You’re invited to a free outdoor festival this weekend in Conway and next weekend in Myrtle Beach. It’s the E.A.R.T.H. For the first time ever, the Coastal Carolina University theatre and visual arts departments are teaming up to host the eight-day community event that brings together theater, art, and activism.
Coastal Carolina University students will perform in downtown Conway and Myrtle Beach. Performers aim to inspire change and promote awareness leading up to Earth Day. The E.A.R.T.H. Festival in Conway runs this weekend through Sunday while the one in Myrtle Beach is scheduled for next Thursday through Sunday.
Theatre Performances start at 7 p.m. this weekend on the Riverwalk behind Bonfire in Conway. Next weekend, theatre performances will begin at 7 p.m. on Broadway Street in downtown Myrtle Beach. The event promises to be a unique blend of entertainment and advocacy.
