Two Injured and Lanes Blocked After Car Overturns in Crash Along Socastee Boulevard

Two people have been rushed to the hospital following a three-vehicle accident along Socastee Boulevard on Monday afternoon, according to Horry County Fire Rescue. The severity of the injuries they suffered is currently unknown. Emergency medical services (EMS) and Horry County Fire’s Rescue (HCFR) crews were at the scene of the crash near Cimmeron Drive.

The accident took place at approximately 3:24 p.m. when one vehicle overturned, causing a chain collision involving three vehicles altogether. The severe impact of the collision resulted in critical injuries for two individuals involved in the incident. EMS swiftly transported the two injured persons to the nearest hospital for immediate medical attention.

Lanes Blocked and Traffic Delays

The crash has caused significant disruption to traffic, with lanes along Socastee Boulevard being closed off to facilitate ongoing investigations and clean-up operations.
