This brand-new eatery launched its doors recently and is already making waves on the Grand Strand. Nestled conveniently at 1386 Highway 17 N, the restaurant promises a fabulous feast focused on locally sourced seafood.

Join them for their delightful brunch available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays. You’ll want to make a reservation, though—the place has been packed nearly every night since its opening this fall!
A Recipe for Success
The masterminds behind this venture are a trio of passionate foodies: Kayli Parrish, Nick Faulk, and Bradley Taylor. “We’re hoping to bring the same success that we found in Wilmington and Raleigh to North Myrtle Beach,” says Kayli, who has poured her heart and soul into this project. Having worked in restaurants since she was just a teenager, Kayli isn’t just any business owner. She has climbed the ranks and even took on the role of executive chef at the flagship location. “I fell in love with the back of the house. I love making food, and it’s always a thrill when it gets busy!” Kayli beams with pride.
From Humble Beginnings
The original Cape Fear Seafood started about a decade ago with a single location in the Monkey Junction area of Wilmington. Thanks to its popularity, the founders, Evan and Nicki Trawick, opened more locations—three in both Wilmington and Raleigh. With the new restaurant, Kayli is taking the brand further south and realizing her dream of ownership at just 30 years old!
A Local Gathering Spot for Everyone
One thing that sets Cape Fear apart is their commitment to the locals. “We cater to locals first, and tourists are a happy bonus,” Kayli explains. Having visited Sunset Beach every year, she knows just how much the area loves fresh, tasty seafood. And the response so far? Fantastic! Over 50 employees have already joined the crew, managing to seat 100 diners inside and another 57 on the sunny patio!
When Can We Visit?
Way to mark your calendars! The Cape Fear Seafood Company is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and Sundays are for brunch lovers—10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations are highly encouraged as the buzz continues to build!
