Is Myrtle Beach’s Sam M. the villain of ‘The Bachelorette?’ | Myrtle Beach News

The Tormenting Turn of Sam M.

Sam McKinney, the Myrtle Beach native known as “Sam M.” to the viewers of “The Bachelorette,” seemed to have won the lead Jenn Tran’s heart and fans’ favor after just the first two episodes of the current season. However, a sudden shift in his on-screen behavior in the latest episode left many fans questioning – Is Sam M. the villain?

A ‘Sexy Cowboy’ Turned ‘Troubled Challenger’

Sam, a 27-year-old contractor and a former baseball player for Socastee High School, is famous for his cowboy charm. In fact, leading lady Tran even once coined him as the “sexy cowboy.” Their intense chemistry had earned Sam the coveted First Impression Rose.

However, his recent feud with other contestants, especially Devon Strader, a 28-year-old freight company owner from Houston, shows a completely different side of Sam. From being dubbed the “voice of reason,” Sam has now turned into an open adversary, with gut-wrenching confessions and conflicts that might cost him his “happily ever after.”

Sam called Strader an “ankle-biting dog”

In one of the shocking moments during the latest episode, Sam called Strader an “ankle-biting dog,” leading fans to wonder if Sam is the actual antagonist in the show. To make matters worse, during a tense face-off, he even told Strader, “Long story short, bro, I don’t respect you. I don’t like you. I want nothing to do with you.”

Chef Flustered and His Sexual Tension

During the episode’s group date, where contestants were trained by male adult dancers, Sam emerged as “Chef Flustered,” creating waves with his sultry solo performance. However, the increased “sexual tension” raised eyebrows amongst the judges. Australian Bachelorette Elly Miles expressed concerns about Sam’s behavior, hinting that it might not be the smartest choice.

The tension escalated when Sam laughed at fellow contestant Sam Nejad, who chose to deliver a heartfelt speech instead of a dance routine. His seemingly cocky behavior and his further comments about the remaining contestants left fans guessing what’s more to come from Sam M.

Will Sam’s Strategy Backfire?

Sam’s competitive approach and aggressive demeanor have raised curiosity amongst the “Bachelorette” fans. While the Myrtle Beach native is playing a competitive game, the question remains – will his strategy work in his favor in the coming episodes or will it backfire, costing him the ultimate prize of winning Jenn Tran’s heart?

As the “Bachelorette” season unfolds, fans and viewers are eager to see if Sam M. will emerge as the show’s hero or villain.
