Ripley's Aquarium at Myrtle Beach

Ripley’s Aquarium at Myrtle Beach  offers viewing of a wide variety of sea creatures and offers dive trips, slides as well as live entertainment and a gift shop. This multi-level aquarium and entertainment center is popular with both children and adults giving a glimpse of rare and beautiful marine life. There are Penguin performances and other such entertainment alternatives, in addition to a large array of exotic marine species on display. Since its inception in 1997 the aquarium has been providing one of a kind, world class experience to the visitors.

Family Kingdom Amusement Park

Family Kingdom is a seaside family entertainment park. There are over 38 exhilarating rides to choose from.

The Twist ‘n Shout steel roller coaster, the interactive Jump Around Dune Buggies, and the Magic Bikes are just a few of the thrilling new rides that have been installed in the previous several years. It’s no surprise that it’s one of the most popular vacation spots for both tourists and locals.

FESTIVALS

Myrtle Beach International Film Festival (MBIFF)

The Annual Myrtle Beach International Film Festival (MBIFF), dubbed “the East Coast’s counterpart to the Sundance Film Festival,” takes place in Myrtle Beach in April. The MBIFF strives to present a thought-provoking, impressive line-up of films that inspire and influence. Films presented in the festival have won prestigious international and national awards such as “Top 25 Film Festivals To Submit To In The World” by Movie Maker Magazine and recognition as one of the best film festivals in the world by Film International. World Famous Blue Crab Festival

The World Famous Blue Crab Festival, held in May in Little River, a little fishing community north of Myrtle Beach, draws over 50,000 tourists. Thousands of festivalgoers go to the waterfront to enjoy live music, children’s activities, arts and crafts, and a healthy serving of blue crab, the region’s hallmark dish! The World Famous Blue Crab Festival’s 2022 edition will take held on May 14 and 15, 2022.

Carolina Country Music Fest

Carolina Country Music Fest (CCMF) is held on the beaches of Myrtle Beach and is the Southeast’s finest outdoor country music festival. Over 30 of the industry’s greatest talents will perform at the concert, which features a unique blend of current country headliners and aspiring talents. This family-friendly three-day festival is your summer vacation destination, featuring country music and a picturesque Myrtle Beach setting. CCMF 2022 will take place from June 9 to 12, 2022.

Conway Riverfest

This popular celebration, which takes place the weekend before Independence Day, has various live entertainment performances, an artisan market, a raft race, activities and games for all ages, and food. This weekend of excitement takes place along the banks of the gorgeous Waccamaw River in downtown Conway. Come for the beautiful setting, and stay for the exciting events. In June, the Conway Riverfest takes place. The year 2022 has yet to be determined.

Alligator Adventure

At Alligator Adventure in North Myrtle Beach, get up and personal with some of the world’s most dangerous and beautiful animals. This 15-acre park, which is close to Barefoot Landing, is home to hundreds of reptiles and other exotic animals, including a variety of birds and mammals.

The major draw in this adventure park is the alligators, and Alligator Adventure has hundreds of visitors every day looking for a spine chilling encounter with the wild beast. Feeding exhibitions are entertaining as handlers persuade these prehistoric monsters out of the water and onto dry land in order to claim a free chicken feast. Live gator-handling events are also held at Alligator Adventure so that guests can watch these interesting gators in action. On a sunny day, when hundreds of gators and crocodiles are in their natural habitat, this assemblage of gators and crocodiles is a sight to behold.

Ripley's Haunted Adventure

There are lots of thrill coasters in Myrtle Beach to get visitors’ hearts racing, but just one activity is guaranteed to send shivers down your spine: Ripley’s Haunted Adventure – Laser Strike. The Haunted Adventure is located in the center of Myrtle Beach’s downtown sector on the same Ocean Boulevard city block as other Ripley’s attractions including the Believe It Or Not Odd-itorium, Mirror Maze, and Moving Theater, but it stands out in terms of curb appeal. This attraction is suitable for children aged 8 and up. Patrons can save money by clubbing their tickets with other Ripley’s attractions.

Wild Water & Wheels is More Than A Waterpark!

The Dark Hole, which was named the “best scary ride” in Myrtle Beach by Southern Living Magazine, and the Free Fall Cliff Dive, where sliders can reach a speed of up to 45 miles per hour, as well as the Triple Dip, Side Winder, White Water Express, Head Rush, Monster Drop Slides, H2O Racer, Wipe-Out Wave Pool, and a 950-foot Lazy River and Lounge Pool are some of the popular rides in this park.

Wally’s Lagoon, Kiddie Pool, and Wee Kids Water World are all favorites among children.

Myrtlewood Golf Club

The Palmetto Course at Myrtlewood Golf Club is one of two championship courses that run through pine trees in the center of Myrtle Beach. Since its reopening in September 2019, golfers have rushed to the Palmetto Course, excited to play a course that their peers have praised.

Given the impact of a comparable improvement on the PineHills Course in 2017, the popularity of the work at the Palmetto Course was unsurprising. Sunday Bermuda was installed at PineHills by Founders Group International, Myrtlewood’s parent firm, and the outcome was nothing short of magnificent.
