Myrtle Beach Warehouse Fire Under Control
Hey folks! If you were out and about in Myrtle Beach yesterday, you might have caught a whiff of something a bit unusual. Around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, the Horry County Fire Rescue was called to a warehouse fire in the 4000 block of Mill Pond Road, and it was quite the sight!
Smoke and Flames Galore
When firefighters arrived, they were greeted by a scene that looked like a scene from an action movie. Thick smoke and flames were visible, making it clear that this was no small fire. Luckily, the speedy response from the firefighters helped to get everything under control by around 2:45 p.m. That’s just 45 minutes! Talk about efficiency!
Damage and Safety
Now, while the fire did cause considerable damage to the warehouse—like, they mentioned it sustained significant fire damage—the good news is that there were no reported injuries. That’s always a relief to hear. Horry County Fire Rescue did a fantastic job containing the blaze, and the folks from the Myrtle Beach Fire Department also jumped in to lend a hand.
