Juneteenth Parade and Celebration Set to Kick Off in Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Locals of the Myrtle Beach community are encouraged to participate in this year’s vibrant Juneteenth Parade and Celebration, organized by the Neighborhood Services Department.
Festivities to Commence Downtown
On Saturday, June 15th, the highly anticipated annual parade will kick off at 10:00 a.m. The route will take revelers around the heart of downtown, passing through North Oak Street, Mr. Joe White Avenue, Carver Street, and concluding at 18th Avenue North.
A Move to Charlie’s Place post-parade
Following the parade, the fun continues at Charlie’s Place located at 1420 Carver Street. The area’s beloved clean comedian, Nikitta B, is set to serve as the host for the Annual Juneteenth Celebration. The festivities hold a promise of delivering an enjoyable experience for everyone in attendance, complete with an Afrocentric fashion show, a variety of delicious food stalls, craft vendors, and exhilarating live music performances.
Performance Line-up
The Juneteenth Celebration boasts a diverse roster of talented performers including the “Live in the Flesh” Band, Don Colton, Myrtle Beach Middle School Dance Team, Golden Fury Drumline, and Socastee High School. With such a dynamic lineup, the event is shaping up to be a memorable experience.
