In the Dog House: Spend Time with Puppy Maybelline at NMB Humane Society
North Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Today, locals are being given the chance to see life through a rescue dog’s eyes, specifically, through those of Maybelline, a 6-month-old puppy currently living at the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach. Named for the unique dark marks surrounding her eyes, reminiscent of well-applied eyeliner, Maybelline is a sprightly young dog known for her outgoing nature and love of play.
From Stray to Centre Stage
Caregivers found Maybelline, a stray before her time at the shelter. Now as this week’s chosen Pet of the Week, she is ready to show supporters of the local Humane Society what life can be like for animals awaiting their forever homes.
In The Dog House: A Unique Fundraiser
As part of the 4th Annual “In The Dog House” kennel lock-in fundraiser taking place next month, participants can get an up-close and personal look at Maybelline’s life and the lives of the other shelter animals. Attendees will have the chance to experience being “locked” in a kennel for two hours to raise online donations for their release. Not only does the event generate funding for the adoption fees but it also raises awareness about the daily realities faced by shelter animals.
Join The Cause
The event, scheduled for April 20, provides a unique opportunity for animal lovers to make a significant difference. Moreover, Maybelline, and many like her, will have the chance to meet potential adopters. The affectionate little puppy is ready to pack her bags; she’s spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and anxiously waiting for the right family to make her a part of their lives.
For all willing to make a difference and enhance a shelter animal’s chance at finding their forever home, mark your calendars for the upcoming In The Dog House event at the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach. It will be a day of poignant experiences, heartwarming encounters, and passionate advocacy for animals in need.
