Man Accused of Brandishing Firearm at Woman on Myrtle Beach Adult Education Campus
MYRTLE BEACH, SC – An 18-year-old man is out on bond following allegations that he pointed a firearm at a woman on one of the adult education campuses of Horry County School in Myrtle Beach. The suspect, identified as Jermiah Deshawn Mccree, is facing charges of pointing and presenting firearms at a person, as well as carrying or displaying firearms in public buildings or nearby areas.
Violent Encounter in Broad Daylight
According to police reports, cops were alerted of an assault and weapons violation at around 1:50 p.m., on February 27, on the Myrtle Beach Adult Education campus located on North Oak Street. Mccree, who was in the backseat of a car parked on the school premises at the time, allegedly pointed a gun at a woman in the parking lot and commanded her to “get in the car.”
The woman, who identifies as Mccree’s ex-girlfriend, promptly walked away from the situation and headed for the school’s main entrance. Witnesses claim the car with Mccree inside circled the parking lot several times before eventually departing.
Pattern of Harassment
Police reports further suggest that this might not be an isolated incident. According to the victim, similar instances with Mccree have occurred in the past. The severity and frequency of these incidents are yet to be confirmed officially by the authorities.
