A 9/11 Service Project Scheduled at Warbird Park in Myrtle Beach

Volunteer Project Commemorating National 9/11 Day of Service

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is set to honor the national 9/11 Day of Service with a volunteer project. The service scheduled at Warbird Park located on Farrow Parkway, organized by Keep Myrtle Beach Beautiful, aims to clean and rejuvenate the stone planter at the park.

The exercise entails the removal of weeds, planting of flowers, and an overall cleanup of the surrounding area. Interested volunteers are invited to give a hand in the noble project set to start at 8 a.m. on September 11th.

9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

After the completion of the service project, the city plans to hold its annual September 11th Remembrance Ceremony at the park. The event serves to commemorate the brave lives lost during the infamous terrorist attacks and is set to kick-off at 10 a.m. in the park.

Participation Procedure

Citizens willing to be part of this noble cause and contribute their time and effort to the service project are asked to visit KeepMyrtleBeachBeautiful.com to indicate their interest and get the necessary details. This event presents a beautiful opportunity for locals to come together to honor a significant day in the country’s history and simultaneously work towards keeping their city beautiful.

With this project, Myrtle Beach will join countless other cities across the country in observing the national 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance. The initiative is typically marked with volunteer activities and moments of silence to remember and honor the nearly 3,000 people killed in the horrific September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

The initiative of organizing such a project not only brings about a sense of unity amongst the citizens but also aids in the beautification and upkeep of the city’s parks. Keep Myrtle Beach Beautiful continues to work towards maintaining the aesthetic appeal of Myrtle Beach through such initiatives. And they often call for city dwellers to partake in fulfilling the common purpose of preserving the city’s allure.

The 9/11 service project is significant in more ways than one. It not only helps to keep the city clean but also brings the community together to remember a key event in American history, fostering a sense of unity and mutual respect.

Detailed information about the project and participation procedure can be found on the Keep Myrtle Beach Beautiful official website, ensuring transparency and easy accessibility for all interested volunteers. Don’t miss this chance to play your part in a community-building event.
