The 2025 LPGA Tour schedule has been announced, featuring at least 35 tournaments across 14 states in the USA and 11 countries globally. The season begins on January 30 with the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, followed by other exciting events such as the Founders Cup and HSBC Women’s World Championship. Following that, we’ll have a flurry of exciting events lined up, like the Founders Cup from February 6 to 9 and the Honda LPGA Thailand from February 20 to 23. This year holds a noteworthy record prize fund of $131 million—a whopping increase of nearly 90% from four years ago! This is a monumental significance as it marks the largest purse in the Tour’s 75-year history! Can you believe that? Set to bring the best out of every golfer, at least nine tournaments will be doling out sweeter purses than last year!
Now here’s some exciting news; there’s a new championship debuting in Utah! The inaugural Black Desert Championship is scheduled for May 1-4. Just a little later, in Mexico, the Riviera Maya Open will welcome the LPGA back to its sandy shores for the first time since 2017!
As we cruise through the summer months, you’ll be thrilled to know there’s a European swing in July and August! This includes prominent tournaments in France, Scotland, and Wales, and of course, more multi-event extravaganzas happening in Asia! Keep your eyes peeled for the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea, as well as the anticipated Hanwha Lifeplus International Crown.
Now, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows; the Fir Hills Seri Pak Championship has been canceled due to some financial hiccups. Fingers crossed that it might find a slot later in the season! But don’t let that dim your spirits; the rest of the schedule is packed with excitement.
As the season winds down, Floridians will have their fair share of thrilling tournaments. Get ready for the ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge and the CME Group Tour Championship, both set to heat things up in November. And let’s not forget the grand finale: the Grant Thornton Invitational, giving Florida its last big hurrah on December 12-14!
