Coastal Carolina Reveals 2024 Football Season Game Times and TV Networks

Excitement Builds as Chanticleers Prepare for New Challenges

CONWAY, S.C. — As the summer heat begins to increase, the excitement for the upcoming 2024 football season is also on the rise. Coastal Carolina University’s Chanticleers have officially announced their game times and the networks that will broadcast their first three games, along with their Sun Belt Conference matchups on national television.

Season Opener and Early Games

The Chanticleers will launch their 22nd season with an away game against Jacksonville State on August 29 at 8 p.m., broadcast on CBS Sports Network. This game marks the third meeting between the two teams, continuing to build their rivalry.

The Chants will then play at home against William & Mary on September 7 at 7 p.m., with the game available on ESPN+. This will be the first meeting between the two teams.

Continuing the early season, Coastal Carolina meets Temple for the first time on September 14 at 2 p.m., also broadcast on ESPN+.

Midweek National Television Spotlight

Coastal Carolina’s calendar features notable midweek games, including a match against James Madison on October 10 at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2. This game will highlight the Sun Belt Conference in a primetime slot.

A pivotal game will occur on November 7, when Coastal hosts Appalachian State in a Thursday night match at 8 p.m. on ESPN or ESPN2, following a tight 27-24 victory over the Mountaineers last season.

Looking Forward

The full schedule includes challenging games against teams like Virginia, Old Dominion, Louisiana, Troy, Marshall, Georgia Southern, and Georgia State, making for a demanding season for the Chanticleers.

Tickets for all of Coastal Carolina’s home games are now on sale, allowing fans to experience the excitement live from the stands.

This season promises to be an exhilarating one for the Chanticleers as they look to build on past successes and reach new heights in college football.
